Techni-Kids conducts the most fun and interesting School Assemblies! We encourage student participation, questions and answers, and we even enlist the help of our audience.
The Guts of a Computer
How many kids get the chance to see and touch the insides of a computer? Techni-Kids brings several "dead" computers to an assembly. We take the computers apart (with help from some selected "assistants"), explain the insides of a computer, and let the students pass around the parts.
Students will learn about:
- Memory
- Storage
- Processing
- Networking
- Adapter Boards
- Display
- Sound
Students can win prizes for answering questions correctly.
Pricing Information
One assembly typically lasts 30 to 45 minutes. Techni-Kids requests that no more than 100 students attend one assembly.
In the Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas area, a full day of presentations/assemblies (up to four) costs $500. A half day (two assemblies) costs $300.
Outside of Dallas/Fort Worth travel expenses (mileage, food, lodging, etc.) will be charged in addition to the regular presentation fees.
